WITHOUT SLAVERY ????

I have often wondered what the Americas and Caribbean would be like today if there was no slavery of the African peoples.On research of the subject of slavery in the Caribbean--all the islands had African slaves.The people living there before the various islands were discovered in the 1700s were the Amerindian arriving from north America.But as they were not good workers the Spanish got rid of them and preferred the African slaves.Imagine North America with no slaves ??? Any comments will be welcomed.

every culture has had slaves even today slavery exists...how many people from the uk were taken by the romans and placed into the arena's for the pleasure of watching them die....it facinates me that everyone who slates slavery (which of course we ALL condem )who's ancesters were black, everyone was the ancester of those who were put to slavery....not one person admits to being related to the thousands of african tribesmen who rounded up those slaves from their villages and sold them to the white slave traders for pennies....i guess no-one was related to those slave traders huh!!

According to evolution---earliest Homo Sapiens were discovered in a cave in Southern Africa --SOOOOOOOOOO we were all black originally !

Slavery remains a terrible blot on humanity's copybook and it still exists, primarily in the form of sexual slavery. All nations have at some point been complicit in slavery and the UK is one of the biggest culprits.

One tiny plus may have come from it and that is an increase in multi-culturalism.

slap me for sticking my nose in...i notice that when you are replying you create a new post....if you click on reply to post within the comment box the person who commented will get an e-mail to say you have replied but if you create a new box they wont know you came back to reply to them and the might not visit to see.. hope that makes sense......
